Indoor Adventure Escape Game
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 CAD
I’m developing a brand-new indoor escape game with an adventure theme and need an experienced designer to turn my concept into a playable, toch screen and motion based safety-compliant experience.
Scope
• Overall storyline and narrative arc that keeps players immersed in an adventurous quest.
• Room-by-room layout optimized for flow inside a single indoor venue (approx. 60-minute game).
• Puzzle mix:
– Logic puzzles for pattern-spotting and code-breaking moments.
– Physical challenges that encourage teamwork and incorporate props, hidden mechanisms, or simple electronics.
– Treasure-hunt style searches using clues, maps, and secret compartments.
• Prop and set-dressing list with build notes or off-the-shelf sourcing suggestions.
• Reset and safety procedures so staff can quickly prepare the room for the next group.
• One master game flow chart showing trigger points, required clues, and solutions.
Deliverables
1. Detailed design document (PDF) covering story outline, puzzle descriptions, solutions, and hints.
2. Scaled floor plan with puzzle placement.
3. Prop list with sketches or reference photos.
4. Basic wiring or mechanism diagrams where electronics are involved.
5. Play-testing checklist to validate timing and difficulty.
I’m open to creative twists as long as the adventure feeling stays front and center and everything fits in an indoor setting. If you have past escape-room designs, prototypes, or videos, please share them in your bid so I can gauge fit and style.
