Hex Island Game Map Creation
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Hexagonal Island Map for the Game Technical Task: - Prepare a game map consisting of hexagonal tiles of the same size that fit together. - Place a unique object in the center of each tile that corresponds to the type of terrain (for example, an octopus or a whale in a water tile). - The central object can be enlarged compared to the tiles. - The map should be represented as an island surrounded by water on all sides. - Mandatory locations on the map: 1. Cleft (lizardmen city) 2. Castle (human city) 3. Village (humans) 4. Birth Gardens (lizardmen) 5. Sawmill 6. Pier 7. Mine - The use of the provided tiles with their modifications is allowed. (There are additional ones, in addition to the examples attached here) Requirements for the result: - A finished map in a format convenient for use in the game (for example, PNG, JPG, PSD, AI or SVG). - All tiles must be the same size and fit together correctly. - Unique objects in the center of tiles must be clear and consistent with the given theme. - The map must be coherent and consistent with the island's description.
1. Seven main tiles + (1-7) several adjacent tiles, + (2-7) preferably transition tiles between the water and the island, + (7-14) surrounding water hexagons. About 10-14 per island and about the same number of water tiles around it. (It's also possible to make a pure hexagon in the form of plains, a coastline, a forest, or water, without an object in the center to simplify the work, so that it can be placed in transition areas.) 2. Not all tiles are ready, as are the joints between them. 3. I tried to match all the tiles in the same style. These are the closest to what I need:
