Advise on Creating a Game Design Document

So, I already have a fairly rough GDD as well as a Game Design in Prose document, but I am pretty sure that they need some work for my vision to be clearly understood in it. That's where you come in...
I am seeking someone experienced in building out Game Design Document in order to advise in helping me ensure that my GDD is well suited for those who will need to understand my vision and intent. I am NOT looking for someone to help me design the game that I am considering - just someone to help me with getting my ideas clearly and concisely documented.
As far as my budget is concerned, I am unsure of what to really put in writing without some talking to at least a few of you. I don't have a funding source for this project at the moment, so I will essentially be paying out of pocket for this job.
