STEP to GRBL Milling G-code

Job ID: 40506446

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have a handful of 3 D STEP models that I designed for my small shop. What I need now is clean, production-ready G-code that I can drop straight into Candle running on a Genmitsu 4040 Pro. The machine’s main job will be pocketing and contour milling aluminium blocks, so toolpaths must reflect realistic feeds, speeds, and step-downs for that material and machine size.

If you prefer a different GRBL-compatible sender and can explain the advantages, I’m happy to try it—my goal is simply to run the parts reliably without tweaking every line myself.

Deliverables
• GRBL-compatible G-code for each STEP file, separated by operation if useful
• A brief setup sheet listing tools, spindle speed, feed/rapid rates, coolant notes, and any fixture assumptions
• Any CAM project files (Fusion 360, SolidCAM, Vectric, etc.) so I can learn from your strategy

Acceptance
I’ll load the code in Candle, simulate, and run an air-cut first; the job is complete when it runs without alarms and the toolpaths match the model dimensions for both pocketing and contour passes.

Let me know your preferred CAM package, how you usually handle aluminium on small routers, and roughly how soon you could turn the first file around.
