Toy Designer
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m developing an educational toy for infants up to three years old and need a product designer who can take the idea from concept to pre-production files. The core objective is to nurture early cognitive development through simple cause-and-effect play, bright but soothing colours, and safe textures that invite exploration without overwhelming the senses.
I already have a rough vision for size and play pattern; what I lack are professional sketches, ergonomic refinement, material recommendations that comply with EN71/ASTM safety standards, and a clean CAD package that a manufacturer can quote against. If you have experience designing toys for this age bracket, you’ll understand the importance of rounded edges, mouth-safe finishes, and parts large enough to eliminate choking risk.
Deliverables I need from you:
• Concept sketches illustrating play sequence and colour palette
• 3D model (STEP or IGES) with basic assembly notes
• Material and finish specification matched to infant safety regulations
• Simple exploded view or animation that communicates function to the factory
I’ll review each milestone for clarity of play value, aesthetics, manufacturability, and full compliance with age-appropriate testing. Let me know what similar infant products you’ve designed and which tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, etc.) you prefer so we can align our workflow from day one.
