Sheet Metal and Turned CAD Drawings
Budget: $8 – $15 AUD
I need production-ready CAD drawings for a mix of sheet-metal parts and straightforward turned components that we machine in-house. Each drawing must carry moderate engineering detail—hole sizes, thread specifications and all critical dimensions—so the shop floor can pick them up without extra clarification. Full GD&T or surface-finish notes are not required; clarity around geometry and fastening points is.
You may work in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or another mainstream package—just be ready to deliver both the native file and a neutral format (STEP for 3D, DXF/PDF for 2D) so we can archive and share them internally. We can provide you with simple sketches to work from.
Deliverables for every part:
• Fully dimensioned 2D fabrication drawing showing hole patterns, thread call-outs and material thickness
• Matching 3D model suitable for CAM or nesting software for our CNC router.
Once the first set is approved, I expect a small but steady stream of parts, so consistency and quick turnaround will be appreciated. Let me know your typical lead time and any questions about the information you’ll need from me.
