STL-to-STEP Precision Conversion

We are looking for an experienced mechanical CAD designer to convert an existing STL model into a clean, fully editable STEP file.

The STL model is available and will be shared with shortlisted candidates.

Scope of Work
Analyze the provided STL geometry.
Recreate the model as a proper CAD solid model.
Deliver a fully editable STEP (.STEP / .STP) file.
Maintain dimensional accuracy and geometry fidelity to the original model.
Ensure surfaces are clean and suitable for manufacturing and future modifications.
Requirements
Strong experience with reverse engineering STL/mesh files.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Creo, Inventor, CATIA, or similar professional CAD software.
Ability to create parametric and editable CAD models rather than automatic mesh conversions.
Previous experience converting complex STL files to STEP format.
Deliverables
Editable STEP file (.STEP / .STP)
Native CAD source file (preferred)
All dimensions and geometry matching the original STL model
