Reverse-Engineer Creality Scan to CAD

Job ID: 40544031

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I have a raw Creality scan of a component that now needs to be turned into clean, fully parametric CAD ready for 3-D printing in Fusion 360. The part will be used as a functional PLA replacement, so I need solid, watertight geometry and smart geometry decisions that will hold up under everyday use.

The scan captures the overall shape but, as you’ll see once you open it, there are unwanted artefacts and uneven surfaces that must be smoothed or rebuilt. I’m happy to supply additional photos, callipers measurements, or take fresh scans of critical regions if that speeds things up.

What I expect from you
• A native CAD file (Fusion 360) with a clear feature tree so I can tweak dimensions later.
• Standard interchange formats: STEP and STL optimised for FDM printing.
• A brief note on any areas that might require post-processing or extra infill when printed in PLA.

Tolerances are not locked down yet, so please flag any dimensions you think could become critical once I start fitting the part; we can iterate quickly if adjustments are needed.

If you have any questions about wall thickness, infill, or print orientation, let me know and we can resolve them before you finalise the model.
