Parametric Segmented Sphere designed in Fusion 360 only

Job ID: 39888032

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

I’m a beginner with Fusion 360 and have a general understanding of what it can do, but I’m having some trouble creating the design I need. I know this shouldn’t take too long for someone experienced with Fusion 360. I’m happy to offer a fair and reasonable payment, though my budget is limited to around AUD 100. I’m open to negotiation if you can provide a good reason to justify a higher cost.

I would like parametric model in Fusion 360 of a 150 mm-diameter sphere divided into equal slices. Each slice is 3 mm thick, and both the diameter and slice thickness must remain editable through User Parameters so I can resize the design later.

Key requirements
• Each segment needs an integrated “key” that slots into a flat backing board.
• A tiny starter and end piece—exactly as shown in my reference image—must be included so the full circle closes neatly.
• All segments have to be laid out flat in the Timeline (and as sketches ready for DXF export) so I can send them straight to the laser cutter.
• The full design history must stay intact; please don’t convert the file to a base feature.

Deliverables
1. One Fusion 360 .f3d file with fully named User Parameters, a tidy browser tree, and the complete Timeline.
2. Flattened sketches of every segment nested in a single plane for laser work.
3. A short plain-text note or PDF summarising the main steps you took—just enough that I can follow the logic if I ever tweak the model.

When you apply, briefly highlight your experience with Fusion 360 and any past parametric or laser-ready projects.
