Parametric CAD From 31 STLs
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I have a finished mechanical design spread across 31 already-positioned STL files. All dimensions, clearances, and moving interfaces are locked in; what I now need is a faithful reconstruction in Fusion 360 so the project can move forward with fully editable, history-based geometry.
Here is the scope of work:
• Reverse-engineer each STL into a clean, fully-constrained parametric body inside Fusion 360, keeping the existing orientation and reference origin intact.
• Apply my fix list, which covers three areas: geometric corrections (small surface tweaks and fillet consistency), a few minor feature additions, and light assembly adjustments so mating faces line up exactly as intended.
• Organise the result as 31 separate components in a single Fusion 360 design file—no lumped “dumb” solids, please.
I will supply the STLs, dimensioned drawings, and a short change log that spells out every required tweak. On delivery I expect:
1. The native Fusion 360 file (.f3d) with a clearly named browser tree.
2. A STEP export of the same model set for cross-platform reference.
If anything in the fix list is ambiguous, flag it early so we can resolve it before the final pass.
