Optimize Electronics Case Design for CNC

Enclosure Design Optimization for CNC Machining - Electronics Case (Fusion 360)
I am looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer / Industrial Designer
to refine and optimize a custom enclosure design for CNC Machining.
CURRENT STATUS:
- I have a draft design in Fusion 360 (.f3d).
- I have STEP files for the PCB and the Screen.
- Material: Aluminum 6061-T6.
- Finish: Matte Black Anodized (Bead blasted).
THE CHALLENGE:
1. Port Alignment: HDMI and USB-C cutouts are currently misaligned. They
need proper clearance for both the connector and the cable head
(overmold).
2. DFM for CNC: The design needs to be optimized for 3-axis or 5-axis CNC
machining (proper internal radii, wall thicknesses, and tool access).
3. Assembly: Ensure the screen and PCB fit perfectly with appropriate
tolerances (considering the anodizing layer).
4. Fasteners: Optimize the closure system (suggesting M2/M3 screws or
threaded inserts).
DELIVERABLES:
- Updated Fusion 360 (.f3d) file with full history.
- Production-ready STEP files.
- Technical 2D Drawings (PDF) indicating critical tolerances and finish
specs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong portfolio in Electronics Enclosures.
- Expert level in Fusion 360.
- Deep understanding of CNC manufacturing and Anodizing processes.
