Fusion 360 Solar Light Redesign
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
This is a homework assignment in which I must fully redesign a solar-powered garden light and present the concept in Autodesk Fusion 360. I need you to generate every submission item my brief requires and package them so I can hand everything in without additional tweaks.
Deliverables
• One A4 page of hand-drawn sketches showing three distinct design concepts, each accompanied by a short, ±50-word rationale.
• Fusion 360 CAD outputs:
– Assembly drawing in third-angle projection (A4, all key parts called out).
– Assembly in isometric projection (A4).
– Sectional assembly view revealing all internal components (A4).
– Detailed component drawing of the casing in third-angle projection, fully dimensioned for manufacture (A4).
• A concise sustainability statement (≤150 words) explaining how the redesign encourages clean-energy use, justifies material choices, and improves longevity and recyclability.
Acceptance criteria
All drawings must be cleanly annotated, scaled, and exportable as PDF; model must open in the current public release of Fusion 360 without missing references; text limits respected; visuals printable in A4 without cropping.
