I have a set of product ideas at the concept stage and I’m ready to turn them into highly detailed, production-ready 3D models in Autodesk Fusion 360. Because there are no existing sketches or reference images, you’ll be starting from clean sheet brainstorming sessions with me, translating verbal descriptions and rough notes into precise geometry that will hold up in real-world manufacturing.

The scope includes building complete assemblies with proper tolerances, optimizing each part for strength and printability, and supplying all native Fusion 360 files alongside the usual export formats—STL, STEP, and OBJ—so I can move straight to 3D printing or CNC machining. I may ask for iterative tweaks as we refine ergonomics or aesthetics, so please factor in timely revisions and clear communication throughout the development phase.

Responsibilities
Create accurate 3D models and assemblies using Autodesk Fusion 360
Design product prototypes, mechanical parts, and industrial components
Convert sketches, concepts, or reference images into 3D models
Modify and optimize existing designs based on feedback
Prepare files for manufacturing, 3D printing, or CNC processes
Ensure dimensions, tolerances, and technical specifications are accurate
Collaborate with the development or product team for design improvements
Deliver source files and exported formats (STEP, STL, OBJ, etc.)
Requirements
Proven experience in 3D modeling using Autodesk Fusion 360
Strong understanding of mechanical/product design principles
Experience with rendering and prototype visualization
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Knowledge of manufacturing and 3D printing standards
Good communication and time management skills
Ability to meet project deadlines efficiently
Preferred Skills
Experience in industrial or product design
Basic animation or rendering knowledge
Understanding of material selection and assembly design
