Fusion 360 Aluminum CAM Programming
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have a batch of aluminum components already modeled and now need complete CAM programming in Fusion 360 so I can drop the code straight onto my mill. The job is strictly 3-axis milling; no turning or secondary drilling cycles are required. Dimensional accuracy is the priority, so every toolpath must be verified in simulation and leave stock allowances that hit the nominal size called out in the drawings.
You will receive the solid models (STEP) plus a PDF with critical tolerance callouts. Please use standard metric cutters—my shop is set up with 6 mm through 12 mm end mills—and target feeds and speeds appropriate for 6061-T6. I run a Haas VF-2, so post the program with the default Haas post inside Fusion.
Deliverables:
• Fusion 360 archive with all setups and verified toolpaths
• Corresponding Haas-compatible .nc files
• One-page setup sheet listing tools, offsets, and any notes
Before final handoff, I’ll dry-run the program; if any dimension is out, I’ll send the inspection note and you’ll adjust the toolpath. Quick turnaround appreciated, and clear communication on any geometry issues will keep things moving smoothly.
