Durability Upgrade for STEP Model
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I have a finished STEP model that needs a quick round of durability-focused improvements. The task is straightforward:
• Open the existing file in your preferred CAD package (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, etc.).
• Analyse the joints and connection areas, identify weak spots, and introduce subtle geometry tweaks or reinforcements that raise overall strength without adding unnecessary material.
• Return a clean, fully parametric STEP (and native file, if applicable) along with a brief change log so I can follow the adjustments.
The core objective is to optimise the current design—no complete redesign required—so the model withstands higher stresses at its joints while retaining its original look and footprint. I expect the first pass to take only a few hours, but I’m happy to extend if we uncover additional quick wins.
