Convert Maya .mb to Fusion360
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
I have an Autodesk Maya scene saved as a single .mb file that now needs to live inside Autodesk Fusion 360 for downstream technical drawing and design work. The goal is a faithful conversion—once the model opens in Fusion I should be able to inspect, section, dimension, and document it exactly as I would any native Fusion file.
During the transfer I cannot afford to lose any of the scene’s integrity.
Deliverables
• A Fusion-compatible file (.f3d, .step, or other workable alternative) opened and tested on your end
• A short note on the conversion process, including any limitations you encountered and how you addressed them
• All auxiliary resources (texture folders, custom shaders, rig controllers, etc.) neatly organised alongside the main file
If you already have a proven pipeline—whether that’s via FBX, OBJ, or a scripted export/import routine—please outline it so I know what to expect. I’ll provide the .mb as soon as we start; you return a Fusion-ready model that lets me jump straight into dimensioning and drawing without extra cleanup.
