Ceramic Coated Everyday Bottle Design
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I need a water bottle created specifically for daily use that feels good in the hand, travels safely in a bag, and keeps drinks tasting exactly as they should. The core requirement is a food-grade ceramic coating on the interior; the outer body material is flexible as long as it supports that coating and remains durable.
Key design goals
• A truly leak-proof cap that can be shaken or tossed without a single drip.
• Double-wall insulation that keeps cold drinks chilled and hot drinks warm for hours.
• An easy-to-carry handle that is comfortable for commuters, gym-goers, and anyone on the move.
Deliverables
1. Concept sketches with at least two form directions.
2. Full 3D CAD (STEP or native SolidWorks/Fusion 360) ready for rapid prototyping.
3. Exploded view highlighting material choices, wall thicknesses, and assembly method.
4. Short bill of materials that specifies the ceramic coating process.
5. Photorealistic renderings showing the bottle in real-world daily scenarios.
Acceptance criteria
– Cap must pass a 360° leak-proof simulation.
– Insulation should keep a 500 ml fill within ±4 °C over 6 hours.
– Handle must withstand a 15 kg pull test in FEA.
Feel free to suggest any finishing touches—subtle texture for grip, colorways, or branding zones—as long as the core requirements above are met. CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, or equivalent are welcome; just confirm the file types you will provide with your proposal.
