Carvera CNC Fusion 360 Setup

Job ID: 40123045

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I’m gearing up to produce a series of custom wood components on a Carvera desktop CNC and need a Fusion 360 specialist who already understands the quirks of this particular machine. The job is laser-focused on generating clean, reliable CAM files that let me drop stock in, zero the axes, and start cutting—no guesswork, no post-run sanding marathons.

Scope of work
• Take my dimensional sketches (DXF or hand-drawn notes, whichever you prefer) and model the parts in Fusion 360.
• Configure toolpaths specifically for Carvera’s post-processor so the machine hits the tight tolerances I’m after.
• Prioritise high-precision cuts and smooth finishing on hardwood stock; chip load, spindle speed and step-over settings must reflect that.
• Provide a short “run guide” outlining setup offsets, bit changes and any adaptive strategies you used.

Acceptance criteria
• NC code imports into Carvera Control with no warnings.
• Test simulation in Fusion 360 shows zero collisions and a surface finish rating that keeps final sanding under five minutes per part.
• Toolpaths hold ±0.1 mm on all critical dimensions.

If this aligns with your Carvera experience, let’s get these parts off the screen and onto the spoilboard.
