I want a single, made-to-order “maker sofa” built from the ground up. I’m open on the core specs—type, layout, and even the upholstery—so long as the finished piece is comfortable, durable, and true to the clean, workshop-inspired aesthetic I have in mind. Leather, fabric, or velvet are all on the table; I’ll choose once I see samples that fit the design.
Here’s how I picture the collaboration:
• Initial concept sketch with basic dimensions and a short note on frame joinery and suspension.
• Material recommendations with swatches or high-resolution photos so I can pick the final upholstery.
• A build plan that outlines timeline, key stages, and any hardware or specialty tools you’ll need.
• Progress photos (or short clips) at each major milestone so we can catch adjustments early.
• Final delivery of the finished sofa, ready for installation, plus care instructions.
