Traditional Wooden Furniture & Kitchen Trolley
Budget: ₹2,500,000 – ₹5,000,000 INR
I’m planning a full refresh of my home interiors under the banner “Kanchan Furniture,” and the centerpiece will be a custom-built modular kitchen trolley that matches the rest of the new pieces. Everything has to follow a distinctly traditional look—think warm wood tones, classic joinery, and carved detailing rather than modern minimalist lines.
Scope of work
• Design and build one modular kitchen trolley that can be moved easily yet fits flush with the counters when parked.
• Craft matching wooden furniture items (dining chairs, sideboard, and a small pooja cabinet are on my wish list, though I’m open to your ideas if they keep the same theme).
• Source solid wood only; plywood or composite may be used internally where it makes engineering sense, but all visible surfaces must be real wood.
• Finish to a rich, durable sheen suited for heavy kitchen use—no laminates on the exterior faces.
What I need from you
Submit a detailed project proposal that walks me through: concept sketches or 3-D renders, timber selection and finishes, hardware choices for modular movement, estimated production schedule, and installation plan. If you have past projects in a similar style, feel free to weave a few photos into the proposal to show your craftsmanship.
Acceptance criteria
I’ll sign off once the final pieces match the approved drawings, roll smoothly, sit level, and the finish is blemish-free. Precise measurements and structural integrity are mandatory; aesthetics alone won’t be enough.
Looking forward to seeing how you can breathe life into traditional wooden elegance with practical kitchen functionality.
