Silver Leaf Cabinet Restoration

My vintage cabinet once gleamed with a full silver-leaf finish, but time and a few minor scratches have dulled it. I’d like the entire piece—inside edges, mouldings, legs, every visible surface—re-gilded in genuine silver leaf. No extra patterns or embellishments; I just want that clean, mirror-like silver finish brought back to life.

The job will involve:
• Light surface preparation to level out small nicks and scratches
• Re-application of traditional silver leaf (oil- or water-based size—your choice, as long as the adhesion is flawless)
• Burnishing and sealing so the leaf looks uniform and resists tarnish

I’m after a perfectly even sheen without overlap lines, bubbling, or dull spots. When you’re done, the cabinet should photograph like new under natural light.
