Modern Living Room Furniture Design
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I need an interior designer to help transform my living room with a focus on furniture and fixtures. We want a modern, classy look but not too formal. The living room should be designed to accommodate entertaining guests and watching TV/movies.
The room size is approximately 3.9m wide (from wall to fireplace and tv cabinetry) and 4m long (from glass doors / edge of convex curve to end of fireplace).
Key Requirements:
- Design must reflect a modern style.
- Sofa needs to be stylish but also actually comfortable for watching tv and relaxing. We like low profile designs, but most of them don’t have enough back support to sit for any length of time.
- We prefer neutral tones, but ok with some basic pops of colour
- We’d like recommendations for actual things we can buy, not just rendered options. As an indication, budget for sofa is up to $5k, budget for a rug would be under $1k
