Furniture Polishing Specialist Needed
Budget: $20,000 – $50,000 USD
I run a busy workshop and need an extra set of steady, detail-minded hands to keep our furniture production line moving smoothly. The work is strictly hands-on and you’ll be right on the floor with the rest of us, collaborating at each stage and making sure every piece leaves the shop with a flawless, showroom-ready finish.
Your main focus will be polishing and finishing: sanding surfaces uniformly, applying stains or clear coats, buffing, and doing the final quality check before packing. Because we build in small batches, teamwork is essential; expect to coordinate with cutters, assemblers, and logistics so each job passes smoothly from station to station.
I’m looking for someone who:
• Enjoys physical, workshop-based tasks and can stay on their feet.
• Communicates clearly with the crew, asks questions early, and follows safety instructions.
• Appreciates tight deadlines and can keep pace without sacrificing quality.
The schedule is flexible and part-time; we’ll agree on shifts that fit us both. When you respond, please share a short note about your experience with polishing and finishing and any woodworking tools you’re comfortable using. If you have photos of previous work, feel free to attach them.
Looking forward to adding a reliable finisher to the team.
