Custom Colorful Podcast Chairs
Budget: $750 – $1,500 CAD
I need a small run of statement chairs built for my podcast studio. Visually they have to pop on camera—think bold, vibrant colours—and be upholstered entirely in fabric so guests look and feel relaxed during long recordings. Comfort is non-negotiable: the seats should feel fluffy and cloud-like, with no creaks or squeaks that microphones might pick up.
What I’m picturing
• Fabric upholstery in rich, eye-catching colours (I’ll share our brand palette).
• Cushioned, “fluffy comfy” feel that keeps its shape over time.
• Quiet, rock-solid construction able to support at least 130 kg.
• Studio-friendly height; I’ll confirm exact seat and arm-rest measurements once we start.
• Initial batch of four identical chairs, with the option to order more after we approve the prototype.
Deliverables
1. Concept drawings or 3-D renders with dimensions, colour swatches and material list.
2. Final build and delivery of the four finished chairs, ready for immediate studio use.
3. Simple care / maintenance guide and any assembly hardware.
Acceptance criteria
• Matches the approved concept and colour scheme.
• Fabric is neatly upholstered, seams tight, no visible staples.
• Chairs sit level, make no noise, and feel as comfortable as specified.
