Room layout required for the living room with through dining room
Advice on refreshing the room with curtains, wallpaper, carpet, accessories and full styling
Style to be classic English Country House style applied to a mid-century bungalow and to reflect the existing furniture pieces (open to other suggestions)
The living room looks out onto a wood opposite
Love green living rooms with blue, yellow and red colours - do not like murky colours (the room is North-West facing).
To reflect my love of nature (floral, woodland) and artwork
Looking for a cosy, warm inviting space to relax, entertain and watch TV
Would like advice on sofa, re-covering armchair(s), side tables, footstool, dining room chairs, curtains, wallpaper, paint colours, lighting, carpet colour, cushions, throws, and other accessories (I have a few Chinese accessories to incorporate)
Do not want the room to look like an old person living in it
I'm wanting a cohesive, hormonious, layered look created using a mixture of designer wallpaper and fabrics and UK high street brands
I will take any advice such as install radiator covers. I think the TV should be mounted on the wall
There is a privacy issue with a very large window
There is an off centre fireplace
The dining room table somehow needs to tie in with the living room and extra dining room chairs are required to complement existing ones

The through dining room measures 3.4 m x 2.8 m
