Load & Unload U-Haul
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need an extra pair of strong, careful hands to help me load a U-Haul at my storage unit and then unload it at the destination. The load is a mix of household furniture and packed boxes. Some pieces are heavy, and a few are fragile, so I’m counting on professional-level lifting technique as well as the kind of padding and stacking know-how that keeps delicate items safe in transit.
Here’s the basic flow:
• Meet me at the storage facility, move everything into the truck
• Ride or follow to the drop-off point
• Unload and place each item where I direct
Expect a couple of bulky pieces—nothing outrageous, but definitely a two-person lift. Bring a dolly, straps, and blankets if you have them; otherwise, let me know so I can arrange extras.
This is a straightforward, single-day job. If you’re punctual, experienced with both heavy lifting and fragile loads, and comfortable working around tight storage corridors, I’d love to lock in a date with you. Approximately 2 hours of work pays $40 when finished.
