Handyman: Furniture Build & Minor Repairs

Job ID: 40618802

Budget: $8 – $15 USD

I have a handful of practical jobs piling up at home and would like to knock them out in one visit. The main items are:

• Assembling a new piece of exercise equipment (think multi-station gym gear with several bolts and brackets).
• Patching several drywall dings and small holes so they’re smooth, flush, and ready for paint.
• Installing a few low-voltage electrical items—ceiling or wall-mounted speakers and a similar “easy-wire” accessory.

You’ll need your own basic tools (drill/driver, stud finder, level, putty knives, sandpaper, etc.) and the know-how to leave a clean finish. Experience with exercise equipment assembly and neat drywall repair is important; I don’t want to revisit these spots later.

Acceptance criteria
– Exercise machine fully assembled, stable, and safety-checked.
– Drywall patches invisible after priming; no proud spots or sinking.
– Speakers mounted securely, wires concealed as neatly as the walls allow, and sound confirmed.

Flexible on scheduling over the next week or two. If you see other quick fixes while you’re here, feel free to point them out—we can add them if time allows. Let me know your expected hours and any questions, and we’ll set a start date.
