Furniture Assembly & Heavy Lifting
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
I’ve just moved in and have a full set of flat-pack items waiting—sofa frame, coffee table, bookshelves, two wardrobes, a queen bed, dressers, plus a small dining set and a few kitchen cabinets. All manuals and hardware are on hand, so nothing has to be guessed.
What I need is straightforward: put every piece together correctly, then give me a hand lifting only the heavier items (the wardrobes, bed, and sofa) into their final spots. Lighter pieces I can shift myself once they’re built.
Ideally you’re comfortable reading manufacturer instructions, arrive with the standard toolkit for furniture assembly, and know a thing or two about protecting floors and walls while moving bulky items. When you’re done, every unit should be sturdy, level, and placed where we’ve agreed.
If that sounds like your sort of task, let me know your earliest availability and roughly how long you expect the job to take.
