To achieve this goal, we need to reach out to the community for financial support. We aim to raise funds that will enable us to develop a comprehensive website and online platform for URMixedGolf. This platform will serve as a hub for organizing golf competitions, access to discounted green fees, golfing holidays (discounted for members), access to news and reviews but above all fostering connections between golf enthusiasts, and promoting our cause to a wider audience.
This cause holds immense significance for us due to our firm belief in equality and the power of sport to bring people together. Historically, golf has been predominantly male-dominated, and barriers to entry have discouraged many potential players from taking part. By establishing URMixedGolf, we want to break down these barriers and create an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity.
Our aim is not only to promote gender equality in golf but also to encourage people from different backgrounds to embrace the sport. We firmly believe that by promoting inclusivity, we can help bridge social gaps, foster friendships, and create a stronger sense of community.
