Fundraising Specialist for Nonprofit News Series

Job ID: 40110151

Budget: $50,000 – $100,000 USD

For the past two decades our nonprofit has investigated, assisted law enforcement and reported on the plight of missing, runaway, trafficked, and homeless children in the United States. In three months we will launch a six-month, daily online news series that follows cases and resources across all 50 states. The reporting team is in place; what we lack are the in-kind resources—valued at roughly $800,000—that will keep the cameras rolling from coast to coast.

My priority is transportation. If you have a proven record of approaching large corporations and converting conversations into donated or providing vehicles or use of vehicles, you are already the partner I need. Once vehicles are secured, we will turn to fuel cards, broadcast-grade equipment, and airline tickets, all within the same overall target.

Here is how success will be measured:
• Written commitment letters or agreements from corporations, itemising each donation and its fair-market value, until the cumulative total reaches $800k.
• Vehicles delivered—or scheduled for delivery—before our first shoot date.
• A brief donor summary sheet so we can acknowledge each company during the series.

You will have direct access to our media deck, impact statistics, and 501(c)(3) paperwork to support your outreach. I’ll handle any follow-up PR or legal documents you secure; your focus remains on opening doors and closing the in-kind gifts.
