Job Description
I am seeking an experienced and motivated Fundraising & Donor Outreach Specialist to help me grow donations for my active GoGetFunding campaign. The goal of this role is to identify, reach out to, and engage potential donors who are willing to support a meaningful cause. This includes individuals, organizations, faith-based groups, philanthropists, and online communities that regularly support charitable campaigns.
The freelancer will be responsible for researching potential donors, crafting compelling and personalized outreach messages, and managing communication through emails, social media, and other appropriate channels. You will help shape and refine the campaign narrative to make it more appealing and trustworthy to donors, while ensuring that outreach efforts remain ethical, respectful, and transparent. Experience with crowdfunding platforms such as GoGetFunding, GoFundMe, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
In addition, the freelancer will help with campaign management and optimization, including tracking outreach progress, suggesting improvements to campaign content, and advising on donor engagement strategies. This role requires someone who is proactive, organized, and results-driven, with a genuine interest in helping causes raise funds successfully. Payment can be discussed based on experience, milestones, or performance.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in fundraising, donor outreach, or crowdfunding campaigns
Strong email writing and copywriting skills for donor engagement
Ability to research and identify potential donors (individuals, NGOs, churches, philanthropists, online communities)
Experience managing or promoting campaigns on GoGetFunding, GoFundMe, or similar platforms
Knowledge of email outreach tools and basic CRM or tracking methods
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and deliver measurable results
Familiarity with social media outreach and online fundraising strategies
High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
