FUNDRAISER NEEDED - Restarting Charitable Business and Second Project Involving Public Policy
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have two projects for which I need to raise as much funds as I can. The first one is a wildlife center which provides the service of wildlife rehabilitation and education to the public. The second project is more of a campaign. I need to acquire funding for litigation involving public policy and protecting our constitutional rights in the field of wildlife conservation, environmental justice and restoring lost freedoms taken from us by the administrative agencies which regulate and/or interfere with animal owners.
I tried litigating these issues on my own to no avail since there is too much judicial abuse of the court system and authority structures among the judges and attorneys. When I litigated as a self-represented litigant, i virtually had no due process and tolerated attorney harassment in and out of court, attorneys advising their clients to perjure themselves and fabricate evidence. The list goes on and on.
I am trying to put together a campaign to then turn into a foundation of fund of some sort to help those people who have been unfairly targeted by the opponents of animal ownership. There are many who have endured unlawful seizures of valuable animals which may be high in value objectively but are also loved by their owners as well.
Many people believe owning and working with animals is a luxury or privilege, not a right. However, between extreme and invasive regulation, kangaroo courts destroying any reality involving due process and the government agencies involved creating a monopoly of exotic animals which they normally and unlawfully seize and send to the same facilities which aren't any better, and often much worse since the regulations aren't being enforced fairly and consistently. The most critical reason the ownership and possession of wild and exotic animals should be protected is the betterment of endangered species. All this conflict and abuse of the system by authorities is having a detrimental effect on the future of many species, especially those which are critically endangered.
I have two goals; that is, a small goal of raising $10,000 - $15,000 to help close out already existing litigation and to start engaging a law firm which has promised to sign on with us and start building a team needed to address many problems in the animal industry - most of which pertain to the massive loss of our liberties and rights. I think it's imperative to start this campaign before the species we've been working so hard to conserve are lost forever.
My startup business that I'm restarting is a small wildlife center which offers the vital services of wildlife rehabilitation and education to the surrounding communities as well as to other residents of our state. Research and writing more protocol and information pertaining to the care and rehabilitation of certain species on which I've focused since January 2012 is also something which was being given more priority as time went on before the center began its "hiatus". I think it's time to rebuild.
While the ideal candidate must be familiar with and even excel at fundraising, the other skills are not imperative but would probably make a candidate more likely to be hired.
