Expedited $10k Online Fundraiser
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm starting from scratch and need a digital fundraising specialist to design and run an online campaign capable of bringing in $10,000. The primary objective is simple: raise money. Completed by mid April would be phenomenal!
My current social media footprint is small, so l'll rely on you for both strategy and execution. You run the whole campaign.
If you have a proven track record of small, successful online fundraisers-and you're comfortable owning both the creative and the numbers-let's talk about timelines and next steps.
If at all possible, I'd like to keep this off of my personal social media at first. The money I'd like to raise is to surprise my family with a move back home.
I'm North Central Louisiana native. Relocated to Nola after being offered a career in the film industry as an on-set medic. It was a wonderful opportunity.
I have never worked so hard, or worked so many hours, but I never ever complained. I knew how lucky I was to be there. I like to say I went from handling individuals in the most dire moments of their lives, very poorly paid with zero benefits, and in at least small danger on every call to putting bandaids on papercuts for the best I'd ever been paid, more benefits than I could make sense of, fed well day in and day out, with a Union protecting me making sure I was paid every red cent from the production companies. Life was so great! I was on top of the world. I did miss my children badly in the beginning but was able to make the trip to see them beginning but was able to make the trip to see them 2x/month most of the time and it all worked out well.
Unfortunately, the industry has yet to return after the union strikes of '22/'23. Our area is only seeing handful of shows at a time being shot here where we used to see 25-30 consistently. I wrapped my last show end of '22. "Your Honor Season II" was a great shoot, Brian Cranston is such a pleasant human and actor! I miss it so much. I spent 14 years working EMS in rural North and Southwest Louisiana and took my Paramedic program with Acadian Ambulance in Lafayette, La. I won't be going back into the EMS profession though. I feel I've paid my dues to the communities of Louisiana and no longer have interest in the job. I have a friend that does safety work on oil rigs and job sites. Once I'm situated back North and meet the
certification/credential requirements l'll be going that avenue for work while I likely go back to school of some kind. I tried to wait on Film but I just can't hang on any longer.
The money being raised will go towards a dependable cash car to get me back mobile after having to finally let my car go back in late March of '25. When we get that one finished I’d like to run another quick one for a U-haul, storage unit in North Louisiana, moving expenses, as well as living expenses for the first couple of months while I get settled, and most importantly a small camper to use as a starter home. I miss my family. I'm ready to go home to the faces and hearts of my loved ones. It's past time. I need a little help getting things going and I would very much like to make the move without financial burden to them.
There's only so much I can do delivering takeout on a bicycle and I'm so, so tired.
I'm open to questions. I'm very flexible and am willing to work with you in what needs to be done to make this a success.. I don't know where to start, just ready to get this ball rolling! Also, I raise the pay isn’t that great on this one but I’ll make up for it on the second run. I’d like both to be on an by the same person to avoid any unnecessary delays.
Please include expected complete date with your bids. Thank you!
