REMNANT, Inc. provides enrichment workshops, educational scholarships and life coaching services for the purposes of strengthening families, combating community deterioration and improving individual quality of life.
Remnant, Inc. has provided supportive services to single parents to promote educational advancement through its Single Parent Scholarship Fund; RISE. Remnant, Inc. also provides empowerment workshops and events to promote the emotional and spiritual well-being of business and professional women through its annual IGNITE Women’s Empowerment Summit.
Our mission is to provide health and well-being through the promotion of holistic social services to the community. Through empowerment events, coaching, training, and community partnerships, our desire is to help women, families and individuals thrive.
Position Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals to join us as Commission-Based Fundraisers. In this role, you will play a vital part in securing funds and sponsorships for our annual IGNITE® Women's Empowerment Summit (www.ignitesummit.org). This is a 3 day event that draws hundreds of women in all ages around the country who are looking to break barriers, overcome limitations and activate their God-given potential in every aspect of their lives. You will be helping us achieve our fundraising goals while earning a commission on every contribution you bring in. This position is structured as an independent contractor role, offering you the flexibility to work on your own schedule and manage your activities independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and reach out to potential donors, sponsors, and partners who align with our mission and event goals.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, providing them with information about our organization and the impact of their contributions.
• Utilize various fundraising methods including direct outreach, social media campaigns, networking, and community engagement.
• Collaborate with the event team to develop and implement creative fundraising strategies.
• Track and report progress towards fundraising goals, ensuring targets are met.
• Represent REMNANT Inc. at virtual or in-person events as needed.
Qualifications:
• Passion for nonprofit service, faith-based funding and commitment to making a positive impact.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire potential donors.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive approach to fundraising.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Experience in fundraising, sales, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with fundraising platforms, CRM systems, or social media marketing is an advantage.
Compensation:
• This is a commission-based role with 15% commission on all funds raised.
• Flexible working hours and the opportunity to work remotely.
• Potential for additional incentives or bonuses based on performance.
• As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and expenses.
