Charity Project Organiser for Ugandan Village - Based in Richmond, London UK

An exciting opportunity that will really make a huge difference to people lives. A start up foundation is looking to start an ambitious new project. A small village of 5000 in Uganda need help to develop their village, to give them the basics such as running, water, electricity, road names, and life skill schools.

This is the first hire for this project. The right person must have UK based charity experience will be working directly with the founder. You will be leading this project from the start, so must have experience starting up a charity. You will need to track the lifecycle of this project from brainstorm to completion. It's an exciting and varied job, from working with volunteers to assisting with event arrangements.


Key responsibilities:

Starting up a brand new charity

Help connect with the business community, developing and fostering corporate relationships.

Help establish and develop good relationships with other charities and agencies to increase partnerships and effective joint working relationships.

Recruitment of any volunteers

Overseeing social media and website development

Budget Management, and finances including setting up a Go fund me.

Communicating with overseas partners and people in Uganda.



Skills and experience

UK Charity experience

Proven experience of starting up a new charity

Excellent communications skills, both verbally & written.

Attention to detail.

Good negotiation and partnership building skills.

Strong charity experience in a similar role

Need to bee UK based and able to frequently travel to Richmond in London
