AI University Ranking Portal
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I need a full-stack web platform, similar in spirit to UCAS, where students can explore and rank universities in selected countries, read detailed course information, and submit applications—all in one place. Sitting at the heart of the site will be an AI assistant that
• answers student queries in real time,
• guides them step-by-step through the application workflow, and
• recommends universities and courses based on individual preferences.
While it supports users, the assistant must also collect structured, research-grade datasets: student preferences and interests, application success rates, course popularity and performance, the anonymous questions students ask, a student-decision dataset, and eventual outcomes. Every data point gathered must be stored with clear consent flags and in a format that can be exported for future academic research.

– Modern, responsive interface for browsing, comparing, and applying to universities and courses.
– Secure user accounts with progress tracking.
– AI layer built with an explainable model (OpenAI, Vertex, or similar) that plugs into the site’s knowledge base and our own ranking algorithm.
– Admin panel for editing course/university information and accessing the collected datasets.
– Clear documentation and hand-over notes so my research team can run analyses independently.
