Senior Ruby on Rails & React Full-Stack Developer (Long-Term, 3–6 Months)

Looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and React for a full-time contractual engagement of 3–6 months. You will work on a production application, handle new feature development, maintenance, and performance improvements.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend services in Ruby on Rails

Build and enhance frontend features using React

Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code

Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders on architecture and design

Debug, optimize, and improve existing features

Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails

Strong hands-on experience with React / React.js

Solid understanding of REST APIs and integrations

Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL)

Familiarity with Git and standard development workflows

Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup

Nice to Have (Optional):

Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

Experience with testing frameworks (RSpec, Jest, etc.)

Engagement Details:

Full-time commitment (40 hours/week)

Duration: 3–6 months (with possibility of extension)

Remote work

Hourly rate budget: 2–8 USD/hour

Payments via Freelancer escrow
