About Us
We are a fast-growing, stealth-mode PropTech startup disrupting the commercial property insurance market in Florida. We provide property managers with monthly "Forensic Digital Twins" (high-res orthomosaics and 3D models) of their roof assets to fight unfair insurance claim denials.
We are looking for an elite, fast-moving freelance Full-Stack Developer to build out our core web platform. If you leverage AI coding assistants (Cursor, Copilot, etc.) to ship high-quality code at lightning speed, you are exactly who we are looking for.
The Project Scope
You will be responsible for developing the complete front-end and back-end of our SaaS platform ("The Forensic Vault").
Core deliverables include:
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) System:
Build a secure, multi-tenant login portal with distinct dashboards and permissions for four user types:
Internal Team Members: Can upload raw drone data/imagery and manage client accounts.
Clients (Property Managers): Can view their specific property portfolios, timelines, and 2D/3D reports.
Public Adjusters: Can securely access forensic evidence for assigned clients
Roofers (Authorized Auditors): Can log in to review assigned properties and identify repair opportunities for assigned client
WebODM-Style Data Presentation Pipeline:
Build an intuitive, clean web viewer capable of displaying massive 2D Orthomosaic maps (high-res map tiles) and 3D point cloud/mesh data smoothly in the browser.
Integrate a timeline/slider feature so users can compare "Month A" to "Month B".
Data Ingestion & Processing Architecture:
Create the backend pipeline allowing our internal team to upload raw drone data for multiple properties at once to be processed over night if needed without physical intervention after upload.
Note: You will help us architect whether we integrate an existing API (like Birdi/Nira/WebODM) or build a custom lightweight processing pipeline for the orthomosaics. You will become a part of our startup team if hired.

AI Defect Detection Integration:
Integrate an AI Computer Vision API (e.g., EyePop.ai, Roboflow, or custom models) to automatically scan the uploaded 2D/3D roof data, detect anomalies (missing shingles, ponding water, cracks), and automatically drop annotation pins on the viewer.
Required Skills & Experience
Vercel Ecosystem: Deep experience deploying and scaling full-stack applications on Vercel (Next.js, React, Node.js, Serverless Functions).
Database & Auth: Experience with Supabase, Firebase, or PostgreSQL, and implementing complex role-based JWT authentication.
3D/Geospatial Web Rendering: Experience with libraries like Three.js, Cesium, Mapbox, or Leaflet to render large-scale 2D maps and 3D models in the browser without crashing the client.
AI Tooling: You actively use AI coding tools to accelerate your development cycles and can quickly integrate external AI APIs.
Availability: Must be able to communicate, deploy, and collaborate during standard US Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
Bonus Points (Nice to Have)
Previous experience with WebODM, photogrammetry, or drone mapping APIs.
Experience in the PropTech, insurtech, or commercial real estate space.
Familiarity working with large geospatial data formats (GeoTIFFs, OBJ, LAS/LAZ).
