Mercor is recruiting Senior Software Engineers based in the U.S. and Europe for a full-time, remote role with Orchard AI.

In this role, you will utilize your extensive breadth & depth of frontend (Typescript/React) and backend (Python, Flask, PostgreSQL) knowledge to help Orchard invent new solutions in their FruitScope OS (web app) – that is changing the way farmers manage their farms today.

You are a good fit if you:

You're comfortable working with cloud (Google Cloud), React frontend, Python/Flask backend, and databases (postgreSQL).

Have hands on experience building production-quality web apps at scale.

You're a hard worker with relentless persistence.

You aren't afraid of moving fast, learning what you don't know, and are comfortable with a lot of autonomy.

You are comfortable working on all parts of the stack.

You will work directly with a small, talented startup team.

You will work as a remote, full-time contractor, with the potential to receive an in-person offer pending strong performance.

You will engage in impactful work, shipping scalable software that analyzes hundreds of millions of fruit and wrangles billions of points of fruit data.

With respect to pay and legal status:

Compensation will be based on ability and experience level.

We will pay you a weekly rate.

You will be classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor.
