Replit & PWA Pickup App
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m expanding a curbside / pickup product and need a full-stack developer who is equally comfortable inside Replit and with Progressive Web App builds. The first milestone is a working order-tracking flow that lets customers place an order, see real-time status updates, and confirm pickup—everything should feel smooth on both mobile and desktop.
You’ll be working alongside two other devs already on the project, so clean Git practices inside Replit, clear commit messages, and open communication on Slack are important. I care a lot about UI and UX, so please link to past work that shows off thoughtful interfaces, animation timing, and accessibility touches; raw code repos without visuals won’t be enough.
Tech stack is flexible as long as it deploys cleanly on Replit and compiles into a performant PWA (Service Workers, offline cache, install prompt, push notifications ready for the next phase). If you prefer React, SvelteKit, Next.js, or similar that’s fine—just outline why it’s the best fit when you reply.
Acceptance criteria for this first release
• Customer can place an order, receive an order ID, and watch live status updates.
• Employee dashboard updates those statuses in real time.
• App installs as a PWA with custom icon, splash screen, and offline fallback page.
• Responsive layout tested at 320 px, 768 px, and 1280 px.
• Code lives in a shared Replit workspace with README instructions good enough for a new dev to spin up in under five minutes.
