AI-Powered Logistics Matching Platform MVP
Budget: $88,000 – $125,000 USD
Project Title:
MVP Development – AI-Powered Cargo Overflow Matching Platform (Logistics SaaS)
Description:
I’m seeking a reliable and experienced development team or full-stack developer to build an MVP of a logistics technology platform.
The platform will:
Match overflow or stranded containers with available carriers
Provide real-time container visibility
Offer a lightweight dashboard for small/mid logistics operators
Include basic incentive logic for container pickups
Tech stack suggestions welcome (React, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL preferred but not required).
Must include mobile-responsiveness, simple UI/UX, and basic backend architecture.
Deliverables:
2-3 user types (carrier, terminal, admin)
Smart matching engine
Basic reporting dashboard
Hosting & deployment support
Budget: Flexible for the right fit; MVP target ~$50K–$80K.
Please Note:
Shortlisted developers will be required to sign an NDA before full project details are disclosed.
I am based in California and open to both U.S. and vetted international teams.
Please answer a few screening questions:
Have you built logistics, supply chain, or dispatch-related platforms before?
Can you share examples or links to previous projects?
What tech stack would you recommend for this platform?
Do you have experience working with U.S.-based startups or founders?
Core Development Skills
Full-Stack Development (or list separately as: Frontend + Backend)
React.js or Vue.js (Frontend frameworks — modern, fast UI)
Node.js or Python (Django/FastAPI) (Backend APIs & logic)
PostgreSQL or MongoDB (Relational/NoSQL DBs)
REST API / JSON Integration (for ports, tracking, 3rd-party systems)
Logistics-Specific & Real-Time Capabilities
Logistics / Supply Chain Software Experience
Geolocation / GPS APIs (Mapbox, Google Maps, OpenStreetMap)
Web Crawling / Data Aggregation (for port/container feeds)
Real-Time Notifications / Websockets
Smart Matching / Algorithms
AI / ML for Smart Matching (basic logic at MVP level is fine, even rule-based)
Routing / Optimization Algorithms
Incentive Design / Rule Engines
User Experience & Mobile
Responsive Web Design (especially for small operators with mobile access)
*UX/UI Design (Figma, Adobe XD, TailwindCSS, etc.)
Cloud / DevOps
AWS / Google Cloud / Azure (for hosting MVP)
Docker / CI-CD Pipelines (preferred but optional for MVP)
Preferred Experience:
Developers with previous work in logistics, dispatch, supply chain, fleet management, or marketplace matching systems are strongly preferred.
Optional Soft Skills (for project success)
Agile / Scrum familiarity
Strong communication in English
Experience working with U.S. founders/startups
Security / NDA compliance
Hybrid Approach :
Fixed-price for MVP development (Phase 1 – core build)
Hourly for maintenance, testing, and post-launch features (Phase 2+)
