Part-Time Software Engineering Roles – Full Stack & AI (Remote)

I collaborate with several US-based web companies and am currently looking for an experienced engineer to support ongoing, project-driven development work.
We are hiring for a Part-Time Full Stack / AI / Platform Engineer role focused on building and maintaining production-grade software systems.
Scope of work
You will contribute to a variety of engineering tasks across different client projects, including:
• Designing and implementing new product features
• Improving and refactoring existing systems
• Building and maintaining APIs and backend services
• Working on system performance and scalability improvements
• Integrating third-party services and tools
• Writing tests and improving overall code reliability
• Supporting both green-field development and ongoing product maintenance
Work arrangement
• Approximately 4 hours per day
• Fully remote
• Async-friendly collaboration
• Clear written and spoken English required for communication with US-based product teams
• Flexible scheduling depending on project needs
What we’re looking for
• 2+ years of software development experience
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering principles
• Comfortable working across different layers of a system (frontend, backend, or platform-level work depending on project needs)
• Experience with collaborative development workflows (Git, code reviews, CI/CD practices)
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience (preferred, not strict requirement)
