PHP Web App with Authentication

I’m putting together a web-based project built with PHP and I’m looking for someone who can handle the full stack: a polished, intuitive interface on the front end, solid database connectivity on the back end, a secure login/registration flow in between, and clear documentation throughout.

Purpose & scope
The overall aim is “computer science p” (your interpretation of that brief keyword is welcome), but, in practical terms, I need a small yet production-ready application that demonstrates best practices in modern PHP development. My top priority is an easy-to-navigate UI; everything else should support that goal without sacrificing security or performance.

Database
You noted “computer science, php development” for the preferred DBMS. That suggests you’re comfortable recommending what best fits the use case. I’m open to MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLite—just justify the choice.

Key requirements
• Responsive, accessible front-end UI
• Secure authentication (hashed passwords, CSRF protection, session hardening)
• Clean, well-commented PHP code organised in a logical structure
• Database layer using prepared statements/ORM
• Unit tests or feature tests that cover critical paths
