PHP Portal Development Support

Time is running short on my end, so I’m handing over the build of my personal portal website to an experienced PHP full-stack developer who can move fast without sacrificing clean, secure code.

Scope of the portal
The heart of the site is a solid user registration and login system that recognises three distinct roles—Admin, Regular user and Guest—each with their own permissions. On top of that foundation I need:

• A personalised dashboard for every logged-in user
• A lightweight notification system (think alerts in-app and by email)
• Full user profile management, including avatar upload and basic settings

What I have and what you’ll do
I already have hosting, a blank repository, and a rough database sketch. Your task is to turn those starting points into a production-ready application: set up the database tables, craft the PHP back-end logic, wire in HTML/CSS/JS for a clean interface, and make sure everything is responsive and well-commented. Security best practices—prepared statements, input sanitisation, password hashing—are non-negotiable.

Deliverables
1. Fully functioning portal pushed to my Git repo
2. SQL file (or migrations) to reproduce the database
3. Brief setup document so I can deploy or extend the code later

Acceptance will be based on role-based access working as described, a smooth registration/login flow, and zero critical bugs in basic user testing. I’m online daily for quick feedback and will review milestones as we go, so you’ll never be waiting long for answers.
