Ongoing Web App Bug Fixes

Job ID: 40473960

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I maintain a production-level web application and need a seasoned full-stack developer who can jump in whenever a new issue is reported. The system shows both frontend and backend glitches, mostly functionality errors (unexpected behavior, broken flows, bad data handling) and performance problems (slow queries, lagging UI, memory leaks).

Here is how I’d like us to work together:

• I log each bug in our tracker with steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual behaviour, and any relevant logs or profiling data.
• You claim the ticket, create a branch, and supply a clean, well-commented fix.
• A short report accompanies every pull request, explaining the root cause and the resolution.
• The fix must pass our automated tests, show no new linting issues, and for performance tickets include before/after metrics.
• Once the patch is merged to the main branch I release payment—US$100 per resolved bug.

The stack is a classic Web setup: React with Redux on the frontend, Node.js/Express and PostgreSQL on the backend, all version-controlled on GitHub with CI through GitHub Actions. Familiarity with browser dev tools, Chrome Lighthouse, Postgres query optimisation, and Jest/React Testing Library will make your life easier here.

If you are comfortable tracking down tricky functionality bugs and squeezing extra performance out of both client and server code, let’s start with the first ticket right away.
