Modern Psychic Readings Platform
Budget: £3,000 – £5,000 GBP
I need a full-stack rebuild of the prototype at https://sykiks-mvp.firebaseapp.com, keeping its core flow yet polishing it with a modern, sleek interface and solid back-office controls.
Core user flow
• Clients create an account by email and password, browse available psychics, and start a pay-per-minute tarot session.
• Psychics log in, set their per-minute rate, manage availability, and chat with clients in real time (text only).
• All chat transcripts and time-based billing data are stored automatically.
Administrative console
An additional, secure admin area must allow me to:
1. Search and read any session transcript.
2. Track revenue, platform fees, and each psychic’s balance in real time.
3. Trigger payouts to psychics and mark them as completed.
4. Edit user profiles, rates, banners, and featured listings.
Chat application
The in-browser text chat should integrate seamlessly with the website so that:
• Psychics see desktop or mobile push notifications when a client starts or resumes a session.
• Active session time is metered to the second and billed automatically.
• Connection drops are detected and handled gracefully, pausing the timer until both sides reconnect.
Look & feel
Minimalist typography, spacious layout, and a dark-on-light palette will replace the dated prototype visuals. Responsiveness across mobile, tablet, and desktop is essential.
Technical notes
I am open to the stack you are most productive with as long as:
• Authentication is email/password.
• Payments can be processed securely (Stripe or similar).
• Real-time chat is truly real-time (WebSockets / Firebase / Pusher, etc.).
• Source code is handed over in a private repo with a concise README for deployment.
Deliverables
1. Responsive website with client, psychic, and admin portals.
2. Integrated text-only chat metered by the minute.
3. Database schema and cloud deployment scripts.
4. Final walkthrough and basic hand-over documentation.
Hand-off is complete once I can create accounts, run a mock paid session, review its transcript, and issue a payout from the admin panel without errors.
