Local Dev Setup with Custom Domain

I need help setting up an existing full-stack project locally on Linux.

Tech Stack:
- Backend: Laravel 10 (PHP)
- Frontend: React JS with TypeScript

Requirements:
- Custom Domain Mapping:
- Configure local environment (hosts file, Apache) for http://staging.domain.com to point to the local React frontend.
- Ensure API calls from frontend route correctly to Laravel backend (e.g., http://staging.domain.com/api/...).
- No live/staging server configuration needed.
- I already have a local database set up.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience with Laravel, React, and TypeScript.
- Proficient in Linux and Apache configuration.
- Familiarity with hosts file modifications and local development setups.
- Experience with custom domain mapping in a local environment.
