Library Management for Professional Firms

Introduction :
Professional firms such as Lawyers and Chartered Accountants used to have a big library containing periodical publications as well as hundreds of law books that are occasionally used for their day to day practice. Generally these books are stacked in racks and are not organised properly leaving the professionals to spend considerable time to identify the appropriate literature as and when required. A proper computerised solution is needed to effectively handle this problem more professionally. Also many open sourced software that are available in the web are made for a State run library which do not handle all the unique requirements of a professional firm. Hence, it is appropriate to write a ‘Library Management Tool for Professional firms’ that can handle all the requirements so as to efficiently manage the library in a professional firm with ease.
Expected Outcome :
1. Develop a library management system for use in a Chartered Accountant's office, as per the attached requirements. (Detailed use case document will be shared post selection)
2. Technology : React JS (React query) front end, Python APIs over Frappe framework, MySQL. The application should be pluggable within our product which is built on the same technology, hence high quality, production-ready, easily maintainable code will be expected.
