Full-Stack eCommerce Site Upgrade
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
My live e-commerce site is solid under the hood, but it no longer feels fresh or feature-rich. I’d like a versatile full-stack developer to step in, refine the user interface to a modern, minimalist look, and build out several new capabilities that will lift conversion and retention.
What I already know I want:
• A complete UI refresh—clean lines, ample white space, subtle motion where it adds clarity, and a mobile-first layout.
• New functionality beyond the current shopping and checkout flow (I have a short list, but I’m open to your suggestions and will finalise priorities together).
You’ll need to work comfortably on both the front end and the back end, untangling legacy code when required and writing clean, documented modules for anything new. Performance can’t dip while we iterate, so any redesign must ship alongside optimised assets and lean queries.
I’m happy to review staged milestones in a dev environment and push to production when each slice is QA-approved. If you have recent examples of modern, minimalist storefronts you built or overhauled—from React or Vue front ends to Node, Laravel or Django back ends—please include a link and a brief note about your role.
