Project Description:

Hi there! We're Blynk Telco, a small, local Australian start-up getting ready to launch our internet and mobile services. We are looking for a skilled and reliable Full-Stack Web Developer to build our new retail website from the ground up.

We have a complete, high-fidelity design and a detailed technical development plan ready to go. Your role will be to take these blueprints and turn them into a fully functional, high-performance web application. This is a fantastic opportunity to build the core platform for a new brand, focusing entirely on quality code and robust implementation without needing to do any design work.

About You:

You are a talented developer with a strong portfolio of full-stack web applications. You excel at turning detailed designs into pixel-perfect, responsive code and have solid experience integrating various third-party APIs. You are comfortable working with a modern tech stack and are looking for a project where you can build something new and impactful.

Key Responsibilities & Technical Implementation:

You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of the platform based on the provided designs and technical specifications. This includes:

Frontend Development (React/Next.js):

Implement all UI components and pages from the provided designs, including the main marketing site, an interactive technician locator map, and multiple customer sign-up flows (for NBN, Mobile, and Business).

Build a secure, feature-rich Customer Portal for users to manage their accounts, services, and support tickets.

Backend Development (Node.js/Express.js):

Develop the core backend logic and REST APIs to power the frontend application.

Implement all post-sign-up automation workflows.

Integrate with the Oneview Public API for all core service provisioning (NBN and Mobile orders), customer creation, and data retrieval.

Integrate with Stripe for payment processing and Zoho CRM for support ticketing and customer data backups.

Headless CMS (Strapi/Sanity) Implementation:

Set up and configure the headless CMS to manage all website content.

Build the required functionalities for our internal team, including:

Dynamic Content Editing: Allowing staff to update website text without developer help.

Customer Plan Management: Tools for staff to add new services and remove NBN services for customers, according to API capabilities.

Customer Notes & History: A feature for staff to add and view time-stamped notes on customer profiles.

Analytics Dashboard: A simple dashboard to display key metrics from Google Analytics.

SEO Management: Fields for managing meta titles, descriptions, etc.

Future Work & Long-Term Partnership:

We are building this platform to last and are looking for a developer interested in a long-term partnership. This initial project is the foundation, and future work will involve scaling the platform to include new and exciting features such as:

New Service Offerings: Integrating satellite internet services and selling consumer/business hardware.

Advanced Features: Building out AI-powered tools like conversational AI for customer support and plan selection.

Custom Systems: Potentially contributing to the development of our own custom back-end software (CRM, provisioning systems) as we grow.

Required Tech Stack & Experience:

Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong portfolio.

Frontend: Expertise in React.js and Next.js.

Backend: Expertise in Node.js and Express.js.

Database: Experience with PostgreSQL.

APIs: Strong experience integrating third-party REST APIs.

CMS: Experience with headless CMS platforms (Strapi or Sanity is a major plus).

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and secure code.

Familiarity with implementing web accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus.

How to Apply:

If you're a developer who loves to build and is excited by the opportunity to create the foundational platform for a new start-up, we'd love to hear from you. Please submit your proposal with:

A link to your portfolio, highlighting 2-3 full-stack projects that are most relevant to this one.

We have a detailed development plan and will soon have complete designs ready to share with shortlisted candidates. We look forward to seeing your application!
